SPF Record Checker

Validate and analyze SPF records for email authentication

About SPF Records

  • • SPF (Sender Policy Framework) helps prevent email spoofing
  • • SPF records specify which mail servers are authorized to send email for your domain
  • • All SPF records must start with "v=spf1"
  • • SPF records are limited to 10 DNS lookups to prevent performance issues
  • • Records should end with an "all" mechanism (~all, -all, ?all, or +all)
  • • Use "include:" to reference other domains' SPF records

Example SPF Records

v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all

Basic Google Workspace SPF

v=spf1 ip4:192.0.2.0/24 include:_spf.google.com -all

SPF with IP range and strict policy
